Total Insulation (Qld) Pty Ltd is an industrial & commercial insulation company with over 24 years experience in the industry. Our head office is located at Coopers Plains, Brisbane. Our workshop is located in Coopers Plains, Brisbane, however our work is not limited to this location; our reach goes across all Australia and the South Pacific Islands.
Total Insulation (Qld) is growing and we're hiring multiple Labourers/Laggers & Foam Injectors in Brisbane to join our team. If you're ready to work hard, earn well and be part of a solid crew - we want to hear from you.
About the role
No construction experience is necessary, although applicants with any onsite construction or labouring experience are welcome. Along with previous Insulation Installing skills. Initially you will be employed casually with full-time hours, Monday to Friday with overtime and weekend work on a regular basis. Plenty of opportunity for travel and away work across Australia of which accommodation and travel are paid for along with living away allowances. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate + superannuation as per the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020.
Your typical daily activities will include but are not limited to:
- Workstation set-up
- Operating small hand and power tools
- Assisting tradesmen on various commercial and industrial sites
- Assisting with and learning removal, replacement and installation of insulation and Sheetmetal to pipework & vessels
- Working as part of a team
- Promoting a safe working environment
Skills and experience
Must haves and desired skills:
- A valid Australian driving licence and reliable vehicle.
- A valid White Card
- Availability for weekend and away work within Australia
- Valid tickets in EWP, Forklift etc desired but not a must have
- Willingness to be a team player
- Positive attitude towards work
- A level of physical fitness suited to performing repetitive manual tasks, heavy lifting, outdoors work and in elements.
- Full working rights in Australia
