About the Role
We are currently seeking a Fire Estimator to join our Contracts Division based at our Heatherbrae office. This is a full time, office based position supporting the tendering and delivery of wet and dry fire protection projects across commercial, industrial and mining sectors.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of fire protection projects, including sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire detection, etc. Working closely with project managers, designers, suppliers and clients, you will play a key role in securing new work and supporting successful project delivery.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects within a growing business, with ongoing support and professional development available. The role is based in our Heatherbrae office and operates on a standard Monday to Friday work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for wet and dry fire protection projects
- Review project specifications, drawings and tender documentation
- Complete material take offs and scope assessments
- Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process
- Assist with contract reviews, scope clarifications and tender negotiations

Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience estimating wet and dry fire protection systems
- Strong understanding of fire protection systems, Australian Standards and NCC requirements
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
