What You'll Do
We currently have the opportunity for a fulltime Storeperson to join our Forrestdale team.
Reporting to the Warehouse & Procurement Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring orders are received and dispatched for delivery safely and on time.
Tasks are varied and will include
- Performing general administrative tasks including, stock control, dispatch, and delivery of goods
- Unloading stock from trucks
- Operation of forklift
- Check and receive stock in and out of store
- Maintain the presentation of the branch and keep shelves full of product for display and sale
- Be proactive in keeping site clean and safe
- Processing counter sales through POS
- Maintaining safety processes
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
- Forklift licence is ideal, and drivers' licence is essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
- Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
