Established in 2011, we specialise in the design, manufacture, overhaul and servicing of underground coal mining equipment, including our own range of Australian-made loaders.
With in-house capabilities covering Code D mechanical repairs, Ex DES-certified engine systems, transmission and hydraulic dyno testing, CAD-based design and custom fabrication, we deliver end-to-end solutions with minimal outsourcing.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Spray Painter with a spray-painting background to join Torque’s skilled and dedicated team in Mackay, Queensland, on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and prime surfaces (cleaning, sanding, masking).
- Mix and apply paint using airless sprayers and pressure pots.
- Ensure consistent colour and finish.
- Paint metal components, structures, and vehicle bodies.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.

- Certificate III in Painting or Panel Beating (Desirable)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- High Risk Licence – LF (Forklift)
- RIIHAN305D – Operate Gantry or Overhead Crane (or willingness to obtain)
- RIIHAN203E – Conduct Lifting Operations (or willingness to obtain)
