Boilermaker / Fabricator (Up to $60.00 p/hour)

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Boilermaker/Fabricator to join their established manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble and weld structural steel components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Perform MIG welding and other welding processes to Australian Standards.

Prepare materials for fabrication, including marking out, measuring, cutting and setting up components.

Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and welding procedures.

Conduct welding inspections and quality checks to ensure structural integrity and compliance.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.

Work collaboratively with production, QA and supervisory staff to achieve manufacturing schedules.

Identify and report faults, defects and opportunities for process improvement.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:

Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator.

Recent experience in heavy structural steel fabrication.

Strong MIG welding skills.
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Sound knowledge of fabrication processes and welding standards.

Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

A proactive approach to workplace safety and quality.

Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a production team.
What's on Offer?

$53.75 - $60.00 per hour plus superannuation.

Consistent 38-hour working week.

Located at Richlands.

Early finish every Friday! (Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:20 pm, Friday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm.)

Initially, this is a casual opportunity; however, for the right candidate, likely to transition to a permanent position.
