Top Cut Foods is a leading meat producer, who are passionate about giving our customers the best possible service from the most experienced specialist butchers for over 45 years. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Butcher to join our team and work an early morning shift from 4:00am to 1:00pm.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for preparing, cutting and presenting quality meat products while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and customer service. Key responsibilities include:
- Cutting, trimming and preparing a range of meat products
- Operation of Bandsaw
- Operation of Mincer
- Portion Cutting
- Boning and portioning meat to specification customer orders
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Following food safety and workplace health & safety procedures
- Working efficiently as part of a team
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous butchering experience
- Has strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Is reliable and comfortable starting at 4:00am
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
