At TOMRA, we’re not just recycling - we’re reinventing it. Our mission is Clean Loop Recycling: a smarter, greener way to keep drink containers in circulation and out of our oceans, streets, and landfills. With over 900 collection points across Australia, we’re proud to be making a real difference. When you join TOMRA, you become a Looper and part of a passionate crew that’s all about doing good for the planet and our communities.

This role is all about keeping our repair loop and warehouse buzzing! The Repair Loop/Warehouse team takes in returned parts, checks them, fixes what can be fixed, and pulls useful pieces from others so refurbished parts can be reused. In this role, you’ll help keep the warehouse organised, parts moving, and the Repair Loop Technicians set up with everything they need to get the job done.

Some days you’ll be supporting repairs, other days you’ll be jumping in on general warehouse tasks, moving stock around and helping keep things flowing smoothly. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying busy, and being a key part of keeping operations running at their best, you’ll thrive in this role. It’s practical, fast-paced, and super important to keeping things ticking along!

This role is offered as a full-time, fixed-term contract until May 2027. Working hours are approx. 7:30am-3:30pm Mon-Fri. Background checks for this role will include a federal police check and pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.

Some other duties you may perform include:

  • Support daily setup and pack-down of the Repair Loop area; prepare benches, parts, consumables, keep the area “ready for the day”.
  • Perform housekeeping/cleaning and basic facility upkeep in the Repair Loop and adjacent warehouse areas; 5S-style tidiness, waste removal, spill response.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to technical staff so they can focus on technical work; fetch parts/tools, move equipment safely.
  • Assist with inbound receiving and outbound dispatch; unpack, check, label, palletize, wrap, pick/pack.
  • Help with inventory handling for spare parts and repairables; counting, parts replenishment, put-away, locating stock, maintaining clear storage.
  • Flex across “warehouse assistance” and “repair loop support” to keep the role agile, as requested by Forecast & Repair Loop Manager and/or Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
  • Support Warehouse Team when install activity increases.
  • Complete pick-packer requirements to support various business functions.
  • Receive, unload and process new stock.
  • Operate the forklift as required.
  • Ensure the Repair Loop area & warehouse space and all equipment is maintained and safe to use.
  • Ensure you take reasonable care for your own health and safety.
  • Ensure you take reasonable care that your actions or inactions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Current forklift licence.
  • Electrical/mechanical acumen.
  • Good communication - written and verbal.

What’s in it for you?

  • Be part of a purpose-driven organisation making a real impact on sustainability.
  • Work with passionate, collaborative teams in a supportive environment.
  • Be a part of doing great things for the planet and communities!
