Tokyo Head Spa is a premium wellness brand specialising in authentic Japanese head spa therapy. Our treatments combine microscopic scalp analysis, deep cleansing, steam, pressure-point massage and deep relaxation. We have six spas across NSW, QLD and VIC, and we're adding new treatments to our menu from December 2026.
About the role
- You'll assess each client's scalp skin using microscopic analysis, explain what you find in plain language, and build a personalised treatment plan across multiple visits.
- You'll deliver Japanese head spa treatments, head, neck and shoulder massage, and LED scalp and facial treatments.
- You'll also recommend home-care products and rebook clients to keep their plans on track.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations and microscopic scalp skin analysis
- Perform Japanese head spa treatments: cleansing, exfoliation, steam, masks and conditioning
- Deliver head, scalp, neck and shoulder massage using pressure-point and relaxation techniques
- Select and deliver LED treatments for the scalp and face, including contraindication screening
- Provide personalised recommendations on scalp and hair products and treatment packages supporting sales through expert advice and tailored guest experience
- Keep accurate client records and rebook clients through our booking system
About you
- Certificate III or higher in Beauty Services or Beauty Therapy, or a recognised equivalent
- At least one year of full-time experience as a Beauty Therapist, including skin analysis, skin-care treatments and massage
- Experience in client consultation and retail sales
- Desirable: scalp analysis experience, LED therapy experience, a Certificate IV or Diploma, or premium day spa experience
