Our client, a national civil infrastructure contractor, has an immediate requirement for a site-based Junior Safety Advisor who can demonstrate 1-2 years experience on civil engineering or construction related projects.
As this is a site based role for a Junior Adviser position, reporting into the Safety Manager, our client is ideally seeking candidates with 1-2 years basic OHS administration experience in audits, site inspection and toolbox talks as a large part of this role will be in an administration capacity.
Due to the duties undertaken in this position, our client may also consider an ambitious Safety Administrator looking to move into a junior safety role. However, you must hold a Cert IV in OHS to be considered.
This role will initially be 2 weeks dayshift then on a nightshift basis working 5 nights per week for the duration of the contract.
Due to the level of this position to fit within their existing safety team, candidates previously holding a senior safety position or with more than the above experience will not be considered as this will be reflected on the hourly rate.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Minimum Cert IV in OHS
- Melbourne Based with Australian Experience
- 1-2 years Construction Experience Essential
- Strong Administration Skills
- Computer Literate
- Only Melbourne based shortlisted applicants will be considered.
