Looking for a Heavy Diesel Fitter role that offers great pay without working away from home?

Titan Ind is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our Brisbane-based operations, working across metro locations.

This is a great opportunity for fitters who enjoy working on heavy machinery but want the stability of a 5/2 roster, consistent local work and the benefit of being home every night.

You’ll work across a variety of heavy mobile plant, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs as part of a supportive team.

We’re looking for reliable, hands‑on fitters who take pride in their workmanship, can confidently diagnose mechanical issues and are comfortable working independently.

About the Role

As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mobile plant across Brisbane metro operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic faults

• Attending to breakdowns and completing repairs efficiently

• Performing component replacements and general mechanical repairs

• Identifying defects and reporting maintenance requirements

• Completing maintenance records and relevant documentation

• Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship

About You

We’re looking for experienced fitters who are confident in their abilities, take ownership of their work and can hit the ground running.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Australian‑recognised Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant trade qualification

• Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing heavy mobile plant

• Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault‑finding skills

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

• Ability to complete a pre‑employment medical and relevant site requirements

• Valid Australian working rights
