Key Responsibilities and Skill Level
- Manufacturing of carcasses
- Using the edge bander
- Cleaning and filing of carcasses and door edges
- Building of drawer boxes with metal sided drawer runners
- Installation of various fixtures and fitting to joinery units
- Hand laminating
- The use of hand tools
- The use of hand operated power tools
- Installation of basic joinery I.E. Kitchens, benchtops, drawer units, overhead cabinets, pin boards, mirrors, robes, robe doors, sliding doors etc
- Adjusting doors and drawer fronts
- Using the hinge machine
- Keeping your work space clean and safe
- Packing trucks with joinery
- Work on site & in the factory.
- Work with different materials.
- Happy to work on commercial building sites.
- Great attention to detail & time management.
- Can complete all standard joinery unassisted
