This Life Psychology is seeking an experienced Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our established private practice in Ringwood East, supporting clients for over 10 years.
We value connection over throughput. Our focus is on evidence-based care, sustainable clinical work and creating a collegial, clinician-focused environment where psychologists have the autonomy and support to work with clinical depth and provide thoughtful, individualised care.
Contractor remuneration is $135-170 per completed consultation, inclusive of superannuation where applicable, depending on experience and the individual arrangement.
The role is primarily offered on a contractor basis, although we are open to discussing permanent employment depending on experience, availability and preferred working arrangement.
The Opportunity
We are looking for psychologists who can provide regular, reliable consulting availability, ideally at least 2 days per week.
Consulting may be arranged as morning, afternoon or full-day blocks. After-hours work may also be available by agreement, with higher remuneration applying to agreed after-hours sessions.
You will have access to established referral pathways, furnished consulting rooms, on-site parking, full on-site reception support and practice systems, while retaining flexibility in how you structure your consulting time.

Clinicians have access to collegial support, peer consultation and regular group supervision. Formal individual supervision is available to contractors by separate arrangement and may be included as part of a permanent employment arrangement.

Clinical Work
Our psychologists work primarily with adults and older adolescents.
Areas of particular interest include:
- OCD and related disorders
- Anxiety
- Eating Disorders and disordered eating
- Body image and body dysmorphia
- Perfectionism and overcontrol
- Depression
- Stress and burnout
- Trauma
Experience in these areas is welcomed but not required. We are also interested in psychologists bringing their own areas of clinical interest, preferred client groups or assessment work, therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, including those who may wish to focus on children or other specific cohorts.
About you
You will have:
- General registration with AHPRA as a psychologist
- Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- An interest in collaborative, evidence-based practice
- Capacity to provide regular consulting availability
Area of practice endorsement is encouraged and welcomed, but not essential.
