Therian is looking for an experienced, hands-on Marketing & Events coordinator to join our in-house marketing team on the Gold Coast. This is a part-time position working approximately five hours per day, Monday to Friday. The role is based in our Ashmore office, with some flexibility around daily start and finish times.
This is a varied role spanning social media and content, marketing campaigns, industry conferences and events, content and day-to-day marketing coordination across the business. Social media is an important part of the role, with responsibility for planning, scheduling and publishing content, supporting community engagement, and ensuring our channels reflect current campaigns and business priorities.
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership - someone who can manage the detail, keep multiple projects moving and contribute ideas rather than simply wait for direction.

- Manage event logistics including registrations, suppliers, venues, freight and on-site requirements
- Coordinate event collateral, displays and supporting materials
- Work with internal team and external partners to keep event preparations on schedule
- Coordinate pre-event promotion and post-event marketing activity
- Attend and assist with selected events where required
- Liaise with designers, printers, promotional suppliers and other external providers
- Coordinate quote, orders and marketing purchasing requirements
- Assist with marketing budget tracking and supplier documentation
About You
- Around 3+ years experience in marketing coordination, marketing executive or similar hands-on role
- Proven ability to coordinate campaigns or projects from brief through to delivery

- Excellent written communication and a good eye for brand and presentation
- Experience coordinating events, conferences or trade shows highly regarded
- Practical experience with social media, content, EDM's and basic design/content tools
- Comfortable dealing directly with suppliers, internal stakeholders and sales teams
- Someone who takes ownership, follows through and looks for better ways of doing things
