What's the Opportunity?
You'll lead our gymnastics program: the people, the timetable, the numbers and the good vibes.
And you'll stay hands‐on, because the best Directors are still happiest on the floor with a group of beginners.
- Run the floor. Look after the day‐to‐day running of the program, from timetables that work for busy families to equipment that is safe and well looked after.
- Build the team.
Recruit, train and mentor a team of coaches, many of them in their first job and fitting work around school or uni.
Help them go from nervous on day one to confident coaches.
- Grow the program. Plan, budget and come up with smart ways to get more children through the door and keep them coming back.
- Keep coaching. Jump in and coach when the program needs you, and show the team what a great session looks like.
- Keep children safe. Safeguarding is non‐negotiable at the Y, and you'll champion it every day.
- Help shape what's next. Have a real say in how we build a pathway from first cartwheel to competition.
