The Wish Group is an organisation that specialises in mental health, aged care, disability and training. Owned by a mental health nurse, we have been in operation for 30 years. We are a small but experienced team that looks after staff as well as our clients.
We are currently seeking Mental Health Nurses for casual employment with upcoming work in November in the student wellbeing space. If you are an experienced mental health nurse who would like some variety in the type of work you do and the flexibility to choose when you work, then we would like to hear from you.
Qualifications & experience - Essential
- Registered Nurse Division 1
- Qualifications in mental health
- 2+ years experience in chosen field
- Highly developed communication and writing skills
- Experience working with tertiary students experiencing mental health problems
- Great work ethic and flexibility
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current CPR / BLS accreditation
- Current Police Check
Tasks & responsibilities
- Depending on your work preferences, you may be involved in brief interventions
- Liaison with other health professionals and service providers to find the best outcomes for the client
