Are you a guest centric people person with a passion for providing first-class customer service? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Porters and work across our two properties, The Ville Resort-Casino and Ardo. Casual and Part-time Positions Available.
About the role
As a Porter you play an integral part of each guest’s experience, ensuring every guest has an authentic and personal experience, creating a pleasant and memorable visit. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting guests with luggage and valet parking
- Responding to guest queries in relation to restaurants, hotel room types, promotions, and events
About you
- Hold a current Class C Drivers’ licence with the ability to drive manual transmission
- Experience in a customer focused role, with the willingness to exceed guest’s expectations
- Exceptional communication skills, with an immaculate presentation
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage and perform tasks requiring moderate physical effort
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle guest’s luggage in an efficient and secure manner
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with a property management system, in particular Opera Cloud would be advantageous
- Ability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
