As a Veterinary Clinician, you’ll provide high-quality GP care to small animal patients, with opportunities to be involved in Emergency & Critical Care (ECC). You will work alongside experienced specialists to manage a diverse range of cases and deliver evidence-based patient care.
Working in a teaching hospital means you will have the opportunity to provide real-world learning experiences for veterinary students, helping them develop the skills and knowledge to become confident, capable veterinarians. Longer consultation times allow you time to thoroughly investigate complex cases, collaborate with specialist teams and deliver excellent clinical outcomes.
Part of a broader multidisciplinary hospital, we offer Small Animal, Large Animal and Pathology services, with specialist expertise across Orthopaedics, Oncology, Anaesthesia, ECC and General Practice. You’ll have access to advanced diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, X-ray and CT, a dedicated radiographer and an on-site Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.
The team reports to the Hospital Director, and you will join the Roseworthy Veterinary Hospital's Small Animal Hospital, a collaborative team providing GP, referral and emergency veterinary services. Working alongside experienced specialists, veterinary nurses and support staff, you will contribute to exceptional patient care while supporting the University's teaching and research mission.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive, hands-on clinical environment where every day brings something different. You’ll work alongside experienced specialists, care for a diverse small animal caseload, and play an important role in mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals.
