Overview
Toro Australia is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the Equipment team in Brisbane, QLD.
Reporting to the Service Manager, Equipment, this role is responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance and servicing of turf maintenance equipment within a nominated region (Gold Coast and Northern NSW) to support a wider national network.
Responsibilities
- Effectively managing field service priorities and schedules.
- Ensuring service fleet vehicles are safe, clean and properly resourced.
- Coordinating and performing mechanical tasks in repairing, maintaining, and servicing turf maintenance-related equipment.
- Establishing and maintaining relevant service-related information.
- Providing product service training to clients as required.
- Building and maintaining a customer base to promote the ongoing financial growth of the Service Centre.
- Participating in regular internal product-based training to meet and exceed OEM service standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines.
- Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers.
- A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License.
