This November, The Sporting Globe is opening its biggest venue yet right here in Greensborough. We’re looking for an experienced Full Time Gaming Manager to take the lead of our brand new gaming operation and join the opening leadership team. This is your opportunity to build something from the ground up.
- Take ownership of the day to day gaming operation
- Deliver a welcoming, safe and seriously good gaming experience
- Lead, coach and develop a high performing gaming team
- Own gaming compliance, responsible gambling requirements and operational standards
- Drive performance and identify opportunities to grow the gaming operation
- Build genuine relationships with our regulars and local community
- Work closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team across a huge multi level operation
- Stay across what’s happening on the floor and make sure standards never slip
- Help build the culture, systems and standards of a brand new gaming operation from opening day
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- You know gaming.
- You’ve got strong gaming venue experience and you’re ready to take real ownership of an operation, not just manage a shift.
- You understand that a great gaming venue is built on relationships. You know your regulars, create a welcoming environment and understand how exceptional service, compliance and commercial performance all work together.
- You’re a confident people leader who can build a strong team, set clear expectations and have the conversations that need to happen when standards aren’t being met.
- You’re organised, commercially switched on and comfortable taking responsibility for the performance and compliance of your department.
- You’ll also hold the relevant Victorian gaming and responsible service certifications required for the role.
