Demolition Supervisor – Brisbane / SE QLD
Rosenlund is a family-owned demolition, civil and recycling contractor based at Banyo in Brisbane’s north. We have been operating since 1963 and run our own fleet of plant and equipment, including high-reach demolition machines, supported by an in-house workshop.
We are seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to manage projects across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. Our work covers commercial, high-rise, industrial, infrastructure, health and aged care projects, including high-reach demolition, basement excavation and asbestos removal.
The role involves supervising Rosenlund crews and subcontractors from site establishment through to handover: planning and sequencing the works, preparing and enforcing SWMS, coordinating services, traffic and environmental controls, managing plant and waste movements, maintaining site records and daily reports, and keeping the program and budget on track. The successful candidate will be nominated as a competent person on our Queensland demolition licence.
Requirements:
Proven supervisory experience on commercial or industrial demolition projects
The demolition competencies required for nomination under WHSQ Information Paper D2 (supervisors nominated on NSW or Victorian licences are encouraged to apply; we will assist with the Queensland nomination)
Working knowledge of AS 2601, the WHS Regulation and the Demolition Work Code of Practice
Ability to read structural drawings, lead a team and maintain accurate records
Construction Induction (White Card) and a current driver’s licence
Certificate IV in Demolition, asbestos removal supervisor competency (Class A or B) and high-reach demolition experience will be highly regarded.
The position offers:
$125,000 to $145,000 base salary depending on experience, plus superannuation
