We’re working with a leading global consulting organisation building a high-performing AI engineering team in Australia. They’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with strategic clients, turning complex business challenges into production-ready AI solutions. Work on real-world AI deployments using cutting-edge Anthropic technologies. Please note you must be an Australian citizen to be considered for this role.
The Role
- You’ll sit at the intersection of AI engineering, software development, solution architecture and client delivery.
You Could Be
- Building AI/LLM applications and agentic workflows
- Designing integrations, data pipelines and cloud architectures
- Rapidly prototyping and taking solutions into production
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers
- Working directly with senior client stakeholders to shape solutions
About You
- Strong experience with Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript or Go
- Experience building AI/LLM applications in production would be nice but compulsory
- Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
You don't need to have been an FDE before — Senior Software Engineers, AI Engineers, Solutions Architects and AI Consultants with the right background are all relevant.
