Pool Pro is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines, plant and facilities operating safely and reliably.
This role needs someone who wants to understand how the machinery works, not just respond when it stops. You’ll spend time with operators, learn the production process, diagnose faults and carry out preventive maintenance that helps avoid repeat breakdowns. The work also includes equipment installation, fabrication and general facilities repairs.
What you’ll do
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair production line machinery and packaging equipment
Learn how each line operates so you can identify the cause of faults and improve reliability
Follow the preventive maintenance program and record completed work through SiteDocs
Assist with the installation and setup of plant and machinery
Carry out general facilities maintenance and practical handyman jobs
Complete fabrication and welding work within your skills and qualifications
Work with operators, managers and contractors to plan repairs and minimise disruption
Follow site safety procedures, including equipment isolation before maintenance
What you’ll bring
Experience maintaining or repairing machinery in a production or manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and a methodical approach to fault finding
A willingness to learn our equipment and understand how it is used by operators
The ability to organise your work, follow a maintenance schedule and keep accurate records
A practical, safety-conscious approach to varied site work
Highly regarded: TIG welding and other fabrication skills; an electrical licence; and a forklift licence.
If you enjoy getting to know equipment, solving the underlying problem and taking pride in a well-run site, we’d like to hear from you.
Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs. Don't transfer any money or complete suspicious online surveys. If you see something suspicious, report this job ad .
