The Plant Management Company is looking for enthusiastic, skilled gardeners to join our Hope Island team on a casual basis. You’ll use your horticultural skills to maintain and improve outdoor spaces across the Gold Coast, delivering premium landscape and garden maintenance.
This is a full-time-hours casual role: 38 hours a week, with early starts and early finishes.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain garden beds, lawns and outdoor areas: weeding, pruning and general upkeep
- Plant trees and shrubs to landscape designs and client specifications
- Prepare soil and apply fertilisers, mulch and other soil improvers
- Operate and maintain equipment, including mowers, hedge trimmers and hand tools
- Follow health and safety standards on every site
- Work closely with supervisors and teammates so jobs are finished well and on time
What we’re looking for:
- Safe, confident use of gardening and landscaping equipment
- Sound knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs and good horticultural practice
- The fitness to do physical work outdoors
- Attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Chemical application or horticulture qualifications (a bonus)
