The North Eastern Hotel Benalla is seeking a full-time Chef to be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our guests. Based in the beautiful regional town of Benalla, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and contribute to the success of our well-established top-rated hotel.
What you'll be doing
Preparing high-quality meals from our diverse menu, using fresh, seasonal ingredients
Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards throughout food preparation and service
Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
Assisting with menu development and special event catering as required
Providing exceptional customer service to all guests
Contributing to a positive and productive kitchen environment
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar hospitality environment
Formal culinary training or qualifications in Commercial Cookery
Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
Must be Australian resident - not offering sponsorship at this stage
