This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at The Melbourne Smile Centre, a leading dental practice in the heart of Toorak, Victoria. We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth running of our practice.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting the dentists chairside during procedures, ensuring the dental operatory is fully stocked and prepared.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information in our practice management software.
- Sterilising and reprocessing instruments and equipment in line with infection control protocols.
- Providing outstanding customer service and a positive experience for all of our patients.
- Supporting the wider dental team with administrative tasks as required.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant with reception experience highly regarded.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of dental assistant experience is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide warm and friendly customer service.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach when interacting with patients.
- A commitment to continuously developing your skills and knowledge in the dental field.
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
- Experience with dental practice management software is required.
