Working as part of a small team in the heat treatment department, you will prepare and handle steel components for heat treatment, load and unload furnaces and associated equipment, and learn to set up, operate and monitor heat treatment equipment. You will follow job instructions and record processing details, assist with quality checks and general workshop duties, and maintain a safe, clean and organised work area. The level of responsibility will depend on your experience and increase as you develop the necessary skills.

About you
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work in an industrial workshop
- Pays attention to detail and follows instructions carefully
- Takes safety seriously and works well in a small team
- Comfortable with standing, manual handling and working around hot equipment, using required safety procedures and handling aids
- Experience in heat treatment, manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, machine operation or similar workshop environment is an advantage
- Forklift licence is well regarded
