We are looking for a Chef de Partie – Weddings & Events. Visa Sponsorship Available.
About the role:
The Lodge Jamberoo is part of The Maywild Group, which has 5 amazing Wedding Venues. We're hiring a full-time Chef de Partie to join our catering team and start immediately. We cook European menus for weddings and events. The services are big and fast, and every plate is a lot of fun. We're after someone who wants to stay and grow with the business. With five venues, there's real room to move up.
What you'll do:
- Run your section through prep and service for weddings and events
- Work with the Head Chef on menus, tastings and seasonal changes
- Keep food safety, ordering and stock control tight
- Train and lead junior chefs and kitchen hands
- Deliver catering at other venues
What you need:
- 3 years' culinary experience, including time as a CDP or strong Demi
- Experience plating for large numbers without dropping quality
- Food safety certification, or the ability to get it within 30 days of starting
- Drivers License required

- $79k - $88k + super
