The Infants’ Home has supported children and families since 1874. Now we want you on the team.

At The Infants' Home, you will be part of an integrated service where educators, allied health professionals and family support teams work side by side. Your work matters here, and you'll see it in the children and families you support.

Your day, your impact

  • Design play-based programs around each child's strengths, interests and culture

  • Build real relationships with children and families

  • Create inclusive spaces where every child is safe, seen and heard

  • Capture and reflect on learning through the EYLF

  • Mentor educators and students

  • Step up as Responsible Person when formally appointed

What you get

  • More in your pay: Access the ECEC Worker Retention Payment, subject to the program’s eligibility rules.

  • Salary packaging: Package up to $18,550 each year for eligible expenses (with access to novated leasing).

  • A true wraparound team: Work alongside occupational therapists, speech pathologists, a child and family health nurse, and a social worker. See their work in action, learn from their expertise and get support when you need it.

  • Support close at hand: Our early learning services, specialist teams and head office staff are together on one site, so you will never work in isolation.

  • Discounted early childhood education and care for employees.

  • More time for you: Get one paid Wellbeing Day each year, with the option to buy up to two extra weeks of leave.

  • More ways to grow: Build your skills through mentoring, professional learning and access to specialist knowledge.

  • An inspiring Outdoor Classroom: Bring learning to life in a purpose-built space for nature-based, play-based and child-led learning.

  • Health and wellbeing support: Access our Employee Assistance Program, annual flu vaccinations, and staff Engagement and Wellbeing Committee.
