Be the person who keeps the day moving
Ashfield | Permanent part-time | 9.30am to 2.30pm
Every educator needs time to take a break, plan and reflect. Every child needs a trusted educator there when that happens.
That's where you come in!
You will move between rooms, support different teams and give children a safe, positive and engaging experience. No two days will be quite the same, but your hours will be.
Your day, your impact
- Cover breaks so rooms stay supported and educator-to-child ratios are maintained
- Step in while educators have programming time
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children across different rooms
- Join children’s play and respond to their interests, strengths and needs
- Help every child feel safe, included and connected
- Work closely with educators and onsite specialists
- Keep learning spaces safe, welcoming and ready for play
What makes this role different
- No assigned programming. No focus children.
- You will support the learning already underway, share important information with the room team and finish at 2.30pm.
- Make no mistake, you will still make a real difference. Your work gives educators protected time to plan, reflect and recharge, while children continue to receive consistent care and support.
