We take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness.
About the Roles
As a Steward, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and guests.
Please note we are recruiting for a full-time role for Steward.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machinery or by hand
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, sinks, and floors
- Dispose of waste properly and empty bins regularly
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards)
- Assist kitchen staff by organizing plates and utensils
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with WH&S procedures
- Restock cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials as needed
About You
- Previous experience in stewarding is preferred
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Flexibility to work rotating roster (mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays) Monday to Sunday
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
- A positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality
- Team player with strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of food safety principles (or willingness to learn)
