The Docks on Goodwin is a medium sized holiday apartment complex in Kangaroo Point incorporating both permanent and short-term corporate letting. We are a family run business seeking a bright, enthusiastic and versatile member to join our small team.
We require a Maintenance Assistant, Monday to Friday, 20 to 25 hours per week (to be agreed upon with the successful applicant). This must cover a minimum of 4 hours per day from 9am to 1pm, including extra time if required.
The successful candidate MUST have common sense, an eye for detail, be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
The position duties and responsibilities involve:
- General maintenance in rooms, minor gardening & common area maintenance as required.
- Other duties as directed by the Manager.
- Ability to relate well to residents and hotel guests while sorting maintenance issues.
You will:
- Have a commitment and passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active customer service;
- Have professional interpersonal and communication skills;
- Maintain a good standard of personal presentation;
- Demonstrate impeccable organisational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks;
- Be able to identify and report maintenance issues and remedy where possible.
