CPM is a well-established engineering and fabrication business, now part of The Davey Group, a diversified Queensland manufacturing, fabrication and construction group.
Steel comes in, fabricated product goes out, and the yard is where it all connects.
No two days look the same, the work is hands-on, and you will be backed by a friendly, experienced crew.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Driving the forklift to move steel, plate and finished fabrications around the yard and workshop
- Unloading incoming deliveries and checking them against paperwork
- Loading trucks and trailers so our finished work gets to customers safely and on time
- Getting the right materials to the right part of the workshop at the right time
- Keeping the yard tidy, organised and safe, because a good yard makes everyone's day easier
- Pitching in with general workshop and site duties as needed
- What You'll Bring
- A current forklift licence (essential)
- Previous yard, warehouse, dispatch or materials handling experience, ideally in fabrication or industrial settings
- A safety-first attitude and a reliable, turn-up-on-time work ethic
- A team player who is happy to get stuck in and handle manual work
- A current driver's licence
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
