Eatons Hill Hotel, one of Queensland’s most awarded hospitality and entertainment destinations, is seeking an accomplished Landscaping/Grounds Manager to lead the strategic management and presentation of our extensive landscaped and event environments.
This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned turf and landscape professional to shape and elevate the outdoor aesthetic of a high-profile venue renowned for excellence in guest experience, large-scale events, and premium presentation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to senior leadership, you will provide strategic direction and operational oversight across all grounds, turf, and landscaped areas. You will lead a dedicated team, manage resources and implement best-practice horticultural and environmental standards, to ensure immaculate presentation year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance of lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, and outdoor event spaces
- Develop and implement seasonal turf and garden maintenance programs
- Supervise and coordinate grounds staff and contractors
- Manage irrigation systems, fertilization, and pest control
- Maintain equipment and machinery servicing schedules
- Monitor budgets, supplies, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards
About You
- Qualification in Turf Management, Horticulture, or related discipline will be highly regarded
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in grounds or greenkeeping management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of irrigation systems and turf care practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event periods
- High attention to detail and pride in presentation
