Our products are used across Australia and internationally, and we're proud to design and manufacture solutions that solve complex engineering challenges.
We're a close-knit team where your ideas, expertise and contributions can make a genuine difference.
About the role
Working closely with our engineering, production and installation teams, you'll be responsible for the design, development, programming, assembly and testing of electrical control systems across our product range.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining electrical drawings, technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Identifying opportunities to improve product reliability, standardisation and manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensuring electrical work and control systems meet applicable safety and compliance requirements.
About you
We're looking for someone who combines strong practical electrical skills with the technical knowledge and curiosity to develop and improve automation systems.
You’ll need:
- A current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence, or eligibility to obtain one through interstate licence recognition.
- Demonstrated experience with PLC programming, control system design and industrial automation.
- Experience in electrical control panel assembly, wiring, testing and fault-finding.
- The ability to read, interpret and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
It would be an advantage to have:
- A degree, diploma or other formal qualification in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics or a related discipline.
- Experience with electrical CAD software.
- Experience developing or improving automated machinery or industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of electrical product configuration, bills of materials and engineering change processes.
An engineering degree is not essential. We value demonstrated technical capability and practical experience, and welcome applicants who are interested in further developing their engineering qualifications.
Why join Australian Turntables?
- Work-life balance: Permanent, full-time employment, Monday to Friday, with no shift work.
- One location: Based at our Bendigo manufacturing facility, without regular site travel.
- Variety: Combine PLC programming and controls development with practical, hands-on electrical work.
- Ownership: See your work through from concept and design to a finished, tested product.

- Real impact: Join a collaborative team where you can influence how products are designed, built and improved.
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
