This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to move into a dynamic, tech-driven environment that blends the pace of a start-up with the stability of a regulated financial services business.

The Role: This is a hands-on accounting position with real breadth. You'll be responsible for core financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls, with exposure to stakeholders across the business to provide insights and improve processes. If you’re looking to combine technical strength with commercial exposure, this role offers both.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting analysis.
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
  • Support with annual statutory accounts and coordination of external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with AASB/IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Drive improvements in systems, reporting, and financial processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong technical grounding, ideally from a Big 4 firm, and exposure to commercial finance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
  • Proficient in modern financial systems (e.g., Xero, NetSuite) and Excel.
  • Strong communicator and team player with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

This role does not offer sponsorship.

Bonus Points For:

  • Prior experience in fintech, startups, or regulated financial services.
  • Familiarity with capital raising, investor reporting, or R&D claims.

Why This Role?

  • Join a business with strong momentum, real purpose, and plenty of career upside.
  • Exposure to a broad range of finance and commercial activity.
  • Hybrid working model and supportive leadership team.
