The Alexander Aged Care Centre is seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Permanent Part Time basis. We are a 90 bed aged care facility in Clayton, providing person centered care to our predominantly Greek resident community. We are looking for PCAs who want to make a genuine difference and be part of a supportive team.
Current roster opportunities include:
- Weekday AM shifts
- Weekday PM shifts
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday PM shifts
- Tuesday and Wednesday AM shifts
- Occasional Sunday night shifts
Shift times include:
- AM shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm
- PM shift: 3:00pm to 9:00pm
- Night shift: 10:00pm to 7:00am

About the role:
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily care needs while promoting dignity, independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care and daily living support
- Assisting with mobility, meals, hygiene and comfort
- Reporting changes in resident wellbeing to nursing staff
- Working respectfully with residents, families and the care team
What you will need:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent
- Current National Police Record Check, or willingness to obtain
- Right to work in Australia
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current 2026 influenza vaccination
- Current COVID vaccination status
- Availability to work 6 to 7 shifts per fortnight
- Greek language skills are highly desirable, as they help many of our residents feel more comfortable and connected.
