As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support store operations by assisting with team coordination and maintaining service standards. What you’ll do:
- Oversee the induction of your new team members
- Coach the store’s team to meet (and exceed) store targets
- Help support your team with customer query escalations
- Be the Store Manager’s right-hand person, stepping up to act as Store Manager when needed
- Execute business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics
- Act as team cheerleader – leading from the front and helping to motivate the team, and foster an awesome store culture
- Organise the store floor and team’s work schedules, to meet customer demand
About you:
- You have previous experience in a retail leadership / assistant management role
- You’re able to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success
- You lead from the front and are able to influence and build rapport with a diverse and varied team
- You’re able to resolve customer issues with your eyes closed and can put a creative spin on problem solving
- You’re an excellent communicator who can help support the Store Manager in taking team members through change
