We exclusively represent global OEMs of gas safety controls and gas systems in Australia and looking to expand our team in Victoria.
We are seeking an energetic, hardworking and self-motivated Procurement officer for our Springvale based National office.
The successful applicant will
- Find and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Experience within a procurement and logistics environment.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements with vendors and freight forwarders.
- Analyze spending patterns and find ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure vendor performance meets standards and company purchasing rules are followed.
- Assist in Stock-takes and ad-hoc warehousing duties.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and organizational skills.
This is a part time contract role for 3-4 days per week with the view to become permanent.
The role involves working as part of a team, so communication skills are essential.
You will need to be a safety focused worker, have a great set of work ethics and be a reliable team member.
You will need your own transport and 2 contactable referees.
