OTR Tyre Fitters | Mining | QLD, VIC and NSW
Techforce Personnel is recruiting experienced OTR Tyre Fitters for a leading mining client supporting open cut operations across Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.
The role
- Fit, remove, rotate and repair OTR tyres on mining fleet, including haul trucks, loaders, dozers and graders
- Operate tyre handlers safely in the field and in the workshop
- Carry out tyre inspections, pressure checks and condition reporting
- Inspect and assemble multi-piece rims to site and manufacturer standards
- Work to site safety systems and complete all required documentation
What you’ll need
- Relevant certification to work on OTR tyres (Cert II or Cert III in Tyre Fitting or equivalent)
- Previous mine site experience working on mining fleet equipment
- Tyre handler experience
- Current driver’s licence (HR or MC highly regarded)
- Coal tickets (Standard 11, Coal Board Medical) highly regarded
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
