We are seeking an experienced
Senior Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in delivering strategic lending initiatives across the Bank.
About the Role as a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, technology teams, and delivery partners to drive the successful delivery of lending initiatives.
You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, improving processes, and supporting the implementation of solutions that enhance our lending capabilities and member experience.
This role is ideal for an experienced Business Analyst who has a strong understanding of Australian lending products, regulatory requirements, and end-to-end project delivery within a banking or financial services environment.
This role is a 12-month Fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to understand business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments across lending initiatives.
- Partner with technology teams and delivery partners to translate requirements into effective solutions.
- Support lending transformation and digital banking programs from concept through to delivery.
- Ensure solutions align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to business readiness, testing, and implementation activities.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress effectively.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring
- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within banking, financial services, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Australian lending products, lending processes, and supporting systems.
- Experience across lending transformation, digital banking, mortgage origination, or credit decisioning platforms.
- Understanding of NCCP, Responsible Lending Obligations, APRA, ASIC, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business documentation.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid delivery environments.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
