Senior Data Analyst

We're seeking a highly capable Senior Data Analyst to play a critical role in the successful delivery of new health insurance products by ensuring data is accurately defined, mapped, validated and reconciled across the end-to-end customer and operational journey. What will you do?
- Translate product designs and business rules into data definitions, mappings, reference data and validation rules.
- Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries and transformation logic.
- Profile, validate and reconcile data to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Design and execute pre- and post-load reconciliations and exception analysis.
- Write SQL queries to investigate defects and support data validation activities.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end testing through test data preparation and validation.
- Investigate data issues, identify root causes and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, mappings, testing outcomes and business acceptance.
- Support deployment, production validation, product launch and hypercare activities.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years' experience in Data Analysis within complex transformation, migration or technology delivery environments.
- Experience with Civica Ensure is a must.
- Knowledge of Private Health Insurance, including membership, claims, benefits, billing and policy administration data.
- Strong experience in enterprise data mapping, profiling, reconciliation and data quality management.
- Advanced SQL skills with a proven ability to analyse, validate and troubleshoot data.
- Experience working with reference data, transformation rules and test data preparation.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
