We’re looking for a Safety Partner to join our Channel team based at Electrona on a max-term contract until June 2027.

Why you’ll like it

This role gives you the chance to work with practical, down-to-earth marine teams and make safety easier to understand, talk about and act on.

You’ll be visible across the site, helping leaders manage risk, support their teams and build good safety habits into everyday work.

At Tassal, we’re focused on Sustainably Feeding Tomorrow, and looking after our people is a big part of that.

  • Support risk management and action plans
  • Guide practical use of safety systems
  • Help with investigations, audits and reporting
  • Turn safety insights into meaningful action

You won’t be stuck behind a desk or there to simply tick boxes; you’ll be out with the teams, helping solve problems and keeping safety practical.

What you’ll bring

You’re a safety professional who enjoys working with people, understands operational environments and can turn safety requirements into real-world actions.

You’ll be confident building relationships, asking good questions and helping leaders take ownership of safety without making it harder than it needs to be.

Ideally, you’ll have

  • 3–5 years in safety, WHS or HSE
  • Diploma in WHS or similar
  • Good knowledge of safety legislation
  • Experience influencing operational leaders
  • Strong communication and coaching skills

What’s in it for you?

  • Ongoing career development opportunities
  • A paid day off for your birthday
  • Heavily discounted seafood
  • Access to Maxxia Salary Packaging, Novated Leasing & Rewards programme
  • Workplace wellbeing support for your family
