Join Tassal in Proserpine as a Feed Technician - Night Shift, you'll work collaboratively with other farming teams in a picturesque outdoor setting, tending to our saltwater ponds and ensuring our prawns have access to their vital feed.
Prior aquaculture experience is not required for this role.

Based in a stunning location halfway between Airlie Beach and Bowen, you'll enjoy a lifestyle roster (2/2/3) that gives you plenty of time to explore the beautiful Whitsundays.
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position running until the end of April 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Fill feed trucks, distribute feed to AQ1 feeders, and ensure optimal feed management.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while completing tasks.
- Role Requirements
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, safety focused, and has a passion for hands on work. To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a current manual driver's licence and their own transport to get to site;
- Have high risk licence (desirable);
- Forklift licence (desirable);
- Have great attention to detail;
- Be comfortable with technology and familiar with tablets and use of apps;
- Be familiar with working on night shift;
- Be reliable and committed to working the full prawn season with a ‘can do’ attitude;
- Be physically fit with the ability to work in a hot, humid, and wet environment;
