You’ll partner with senior stakeholders, bringing sound judgement, commercial thinking and the confidence to navigate complex people matters, while also looking ahead at how the organisation can continue to evolve.

You’ll work across talent, capability, engagement, employee relations, workforce planning and broader people initiatives, with the opportunity to influence how the People agenda comes to life.

The opportunity

  • Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the People function, you will:
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, providing pragmatic and commercially considered people advice.
  • Coach leaders to build sustainable, high-performing teams, with a strong focus on talent, engagement and retention.
  • Navigate complex employee relations, performance and grievance matters with confidence and sound judgement.
  • Contribute to strategic People projects and initiatives spanning employee experience, talent, resourcing, capability and development.

  • Oversee key People processes and ensure they are delivered to a consistently high standard.
  • Work collaboratively across specialist People teams to create a connected employee experience.
  • Bring curiosity and fresh thinking to process improvement, including how AI can enhance the way the People function operates.

About you

You’ll be an experienced HR generalist who is comfortable operating in a complex, partnership model environment.

Just as importantly, you’ll know how to build credibility quickly and balance the needs of your stakeholders with what is right for the broader organisation.

  • Strong employee relations capability, including complex performance matters
  • Significant experience as a Senior HR Business Partner
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Commercial acumen and an ability to connect People decisions with broader strategic priorities.
  • Confidence working autonomously through ambiguity and change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Genuine curiosity about better ways of working, including the role AI can play within contemporary People functions.

Why this role?

What makes this opportunity particularly appealing is the combination of strategic exposure and genuine hands on partnering.

You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, work closely with senior stakeholders and have the opportunity to influence both immediate people outcomes and longer-term organisational priorities.

It would suit someone who is commercially minded, naturally curious and comfortable challenging thinking but who also understands that great HR is ultimately built on relationships, judgement and trust.
