- Machinery of Government (MoG) transition
We are seeking an experienced Records Manager to support a Machinery of Government (MoG) transition, involving the transfer of records between government organisations. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can work autonomously, engage stakeholders across multiple organisations and ensure records management processes are ready for go-live on 30 November.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the extraction, transfer and management of records between organisations in preparation for go-live.
- Coordinate records management activities, ensuring records are transferred accurately and in accordance with relevant policies and requirements.
- Work closely with the System Administrator to support system readiness, configuration activities and records management processes.
- Identify skills gaps, process inefficiencies and opportunities for continuous improvement across records management practices.
- Provide post-go-live support, resolving records management issues and maintaining business-as-usual operations
Key Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a Records Manager or similar records management role, ideally within the Victorian Public Sector.
- Hands-on experience with Content Manager or TRIM is essential.
- Experience managing records extraction, migration and transfer activities, ideally in a Machinery of Government change or organisational transition.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A proactive, analytical and delivery-focused approach, with the ability to work independently,
