An established logistics business with operations across Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join its finance team.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO, you will take ownership of analysis across revenue, margins and profitability, helping operational leaders understand performance and make informed decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading monthly margin analysis, identifying movements in service mix, pricing and operating costs, and recommending actions.
- Partnering with branch and division leaders, challenging assumptions and explaining performance drivers.
- Preparing monthly management packs with commentary and recommendations, and supporting board reporting.
- Leading the annual budget process and producing rolling forecasts across group entities.
- Building financial models covering scenarios, capex and cash flow.
- Supporting acquisition activity through financial modelling and integration.
- Developing dashboards and improving budgeting, forecasting and reporting through automation.
You will be CA, CPA, CFA qualified or equivalent, with strong experience in FP&A, financial modelling and commercial analysis.
Budgeting and margin analysis will be particular strengths. You can work independently, challenge assumptions constructively and translate detailed analysis into clear recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills are essential. MYOB experience and exposure to multiple entities and currencies would be valuable, alongside an interest in dashboards, AI and reporting automation. Logistics experience would be an advantage.
