This is a full-time permanent role based in Brisbane CBD offices. The objective of this role is to utilise your extensive experience to support a portfolio of premium clients. You will be responsible for working alongside the Client Manager and the Partners to build and nurture relationships with their existing and new clients.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements for all entities including companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, and other statutory compliance
- Assisting clients with a range of taxation matters, including FBT, CGT, income tax, and GST
- Involvement in tax planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Manage and foster client relationships face to face
- Involvement in Fringe Benefits Tax reviews and preparation of return
- Coach and mentor junior staff
- Manage own workload and deadlines for clients
- Reviewing work of more junior accountants
About you
- Solid Tax Accounting experience in public practice environment (ideally current)
- Exposure/knowledge assisting in advising clients regarding tax planning advice on budgeting, forecasting and value-added services
- Highly detail oriented and organised
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with different levels of employees in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CPA or CA qualified or in progress
- Up to $120,000 + Super, depending on experience
- Up to 2 days WFH after probation
- Ongoing developmental support from Client Managers and Partners
