Enjoy travelling, meeting new people and sharing knowledge, with all travel expenses covered.

Our client is a globally recognised air conditioning manufacturer known for product quality, innovation and reliability. The business is recognised for its exceptional pre and post-sales support and boasts a flexible, down-to-earth, collaborative workplace culture.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned HVAC&R Service Technician who enjoys helping others develop their technical capabilities and is seeking to transition into a dedicated national training role. Importantly, you do not need to be an experienced trainer; strong technical knowledge and effective communication skills are key.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivering engaging, face-to-face technical service training to dealers, authorised service repairers and installers nationally.
  • Facilitating technical onboarding and product training for newly appointed service team members.
  • Assisting with the planning, scheduling and coordination of national training programs, including venue arrangements.
  • Delivering practical training covering product functionality, diagnostics, fault-finding, servicing and technical best practices.
  • Collaborating with internal service, technical and sales teams to identify training requirements and improve technical capabilities across the network.
  • Providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders during quieter training periods.
  • Travelling nationally to deliver scheduled training programs, with approximately 80 travel days anticipated annually.

ABOUT YOU

We are particularly interested in speaking with experienced HVAC&R professionals who possess:

  • A strong technical background in the servicing, diagnostics and fault-finding of air conditioning systems.
  • A natural aptitude for teaching, mentoring and sharing technical knowledge with others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage audiences of varying technical capabilities.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions.
  • The confidence to present technical information in a clear, practical and engaging manner.
  • A willingness to travel throughout Australia as required.

A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be advantageous but is not essential. Greater importance lies in your ability to engage with people, simplify complex technical concepts and demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for helping others learn.

WHY CONSIDER THIS OPPORTUNITY?

For an experienced Service Technician seeking a genuine career transition, this position offers several compelling benefits:

  • 100% off the tools – utilise your technical expertise without the physical demands of field service work.

  • Globally recognised manufacturer – represent a highly regarded brand with an established reputation for product excellence.
  • Outstanding workplace culture – join a stable, supportive business with exceptionally low staff turnover.
  • Variety and autonomy – enjoy a diverse role combining technical training, stakeholder engagement and occasional technical support.
