We are seeking an experienced Project Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering and infrastructure team, working across complex electrical projects and critical infrastructure environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically focused engineer with strong design capabilities, technical knowledge and experience delivering electrical engineering solutions.
We are recruiting across two levels, including an experienced Project Electrical Engineer and a more senior engineer who can take on a leadership or 2IC position within the department.
About the Role
- Develop and review electrical engineering designs and documentation.
- Produce and interpret electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Work across electrical systems, switchboards and switchgear.
- Prepare and review cable schedules, termination schedules and technical specifications.
- Perform and understand fault current calculations, load assessments and overload protection.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and support across project delivery.
- For the senior position, assist with leading the engineering function and supporting the wider team.

About You
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in electrical project engineering, ideally within MEP, construction, infrastructure or industrial environments.
- Strong AutoCAD design experience.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, switchboards and switchgear.
- Knowledge of fault current, cable sizing, termination schedules and overload protection.
- Experience in the generator space is essential
- Strong technical documentation and design capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A stable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to previous employers.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative engineering team.
