Senior Penetration Tester

A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester to join their team on a permanent basis.

Joining an established security team, you will perform advanced penetration testing across web, mobile, application, network and infrastructure environments. This hands-on role will focus on identifying vulnerabilities, assessing business risks and driving remediation through clear reporting and practical recommendations.

You will also advise business and technology stakeholders on security controls, contribute to threat modelling and improve automated security testing capabilities, including exploring how AI can enhance testing methodologies.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Strong hands-on penetration testing experience across web, mobile, applications, networks and infrastructure
• Mandatory formal certification or education in penetration testing, such as OSCP, OSWE, OSCE, CREST, HTB CPTS or advanced SANS certifications
• Experience producing detailed penetration testing reports, communicating vulnerabilities and supporting remediation
• Knowledge of security testing frameworks and methodologies, including OWASP and OSSTMM
• Experience implementing automated security testing tools and processes
• Familiarity with LLM security, prompt injection, agentic AI attack surfaces and the use of AI in penetration testing
• A solid understanding of AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, Podman or OpenShift would be advantageous
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• The ability to provide technical leadership and support team development
